TP&WL Managed Lands Deer Program Level 3 - We supply the Tags - No Tags Required off of your License.  Extended Rifle Season:  October through February.

TROPHY BUCK HUNTING

The Buzzard Creek Trophy Buck Package - (4 days, 3 nights- Thurs/Fri/Sat night)

Includes Two Does, Two Turkeys,  and a Trophy Whitetail Buck.  Trophy Bucks are recommended based on Ranch prior scouting, game camera pictures, and Managed Lands Deer Program guidelines.  Typical Trophy Bucks are 10 points and better and wider than 17 inches.  Trophy Bucks MUST have at least Eight (8) Points,  and should have massive, dark chocolate brown antlers.   Wild Hogs may be killed at no additional charge.   Only 4 Trophy Buck Hunt packages will be offered each year, first come first served.   $2250, all-inclusive.   No Kill Fees.  No Guaranteed Kill,  but Hunters will see many Deer to choose from.   

Meat / Management Hunt Packages

The Classic Doe and Management Spike Buck Package - (2 Nights Only - Fri/Sat Night)
Includes One Doe and Two Turkeys  Hunting Booking Fee $525

Kill a Management (Spike or 3-Point) Buck - at additional $250 fee.
$250 additional for Spike or 3-point Management Buck,  paid only if a Spike or 3-Point Buck is killed. 

Wild Hogs may be killed at no additional charge.

No Management Bucks with more than 3 Points allowed to be killed. 

The Youth Hunter Doe / Management Spike Buck Package

(youth 11-17 accompanied by Adult Hunter,   2 Nights Only - Fri/Sat Night)
Includes One Doe and Two Turkeys,  Hunting Booking Fee $150.   Youth Hunter must be accompanied by paying Adult Hunter.   Adult Hunter must guide and supervise Youth Hunter in killing mature Adult Doe Deer and Spike Bucks only.

Button Buck / Immature Trophy Penalty Fees - All Packages

We charge a $200 Penalty Fee if a Button Buck Fawn is Killed by Mistake instead of a Mature Adult Doe.   Please Be absolutely sure of your target before you pull the trigger !

We charge a $1500 Penalty Fee if an Immature Whitetail Buck with less than 8 Points is killed on a Trophy Hunt.  Immature Buck Antlers are light in color (not dark chocolate brown),  Have Thin (not massive) Points,  and are not wider than the Buck's Ears.  Please be sure your Trophy Buck has at Least 8 Points and the Antlers are Wider than the Buck's Ears before you pull the trigger !

Visitor - Non-Hunting
Includes lodging in the Ranch Bunkhouse, transportation to/from blinds with hunters, and watching from blinds with your hunting party. Visitor Booking Fee: $75

All packages include a fee of $75 for use of the Bunkhouse.  The Bunkhouse - both bedrooms - total fee is $75 for each weekend package hunt.

No Tags Required off of Your Hunting License

All Hunts require a valid Texas Parks and Wildlife Hunting License.   However,  with Managed Lands Deer Program,  the Ranch Supplies the Deer Tags.   No Tags are Required off of your hunting license.  Youth Hunters must have completed a TP&WL Hunter safety course.
